Days for Girls kits heading to Mali this week!

Days for Girls, Diana & Melissa with kits

Melissa Clayton and Diana Allred have been busy assembling feminine hygiene kits made by dozens of women in our neighborhood and surroundings neighborhoods for school girls in Mali.  Everyone who works on these kits comes back to help again and again.  Hundreds of women are now helping to wash and iron fabric, trace and cut patterns, serge and sew shields and liners, and assemble the kits.

I love the feeling of community that we feel with women and girls all over the world.  There is power in it.  Power to change lives.  I’m proud to be a part of this movement.
