This Year in Jerusalem!

Claire has arrived!  NYC to Tel Aviv, and then an hour on a bus to the BYU Jerusalem Center.  Here was the view (FROM HER BEDROOM) that greeted her there.  Wow.  I lived in Jerusalem in 1979 before the Center was built.  We lived on a kibbutz called Ramat Rachel on the outskirts of Jerusalem near Bethlehem.  I am so thrilled for Claire and all the learning and adventures that await her.  I wish I could be with her as she discovers that place that I loved so very much.

The Center is absolutely beautiful, with the best views in Jerusalem.

Here is Claire’s room.  She has 4 roommates.  There are 62 students in their group.Shabbat Shalom.
