Our next stop was Lincoln’s Tomb. I was expecting a headstone. Here is what we saw–
I’ve been reading 2 books about Lincoln during this trip. Coming here was like walking on sacred ground. What a contrast to today’s world and leaders. I feel great reverence for this good man and for his family, who are all buried here.
Our last stop will be the Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield.
