A Pretty Perfect Day

Cherry Tomatoes (1)

Our house smells as good as the banana bread in the oven, there’s a big pot of sweet chili on the stove, and a huge bowl of sweet sun-warmed cherry tomatoes fresh from the garden sits on the kitchen counter.  Adam is out mowing the lawn, shirt off, headphones in.  Aaron is on the sofa dozing through a football game on TV and Claire has just posted some magnificent photos of a 22 mile bike ride through Vienna on her blog.

John & I spent last night at the cabin and drove home this morning through spectacular pines and aspens, accented with the first touches of red and orange on the scrub oak.  Tonight is the big rivalry football game between BYU and the University of Utah and we have seats in the press box.  It doesn’t get any better than this!
