Last night our family gathered to sing Christmas carols, and then listen as John read the Christmas story from Luke and Matthew. Christmas Eve is my favorite part of Christmas. It’s quiet and peaceful. The prep is over. It’s a time to focus on our Savior, Jesus Christ and the love he had for us as he came to earth as a tiny babe.
We have more than 100 International Nativities in our home, most of them are in the living room where we gathered last night. I love being surrounded by these simple depictions of the miracle of Jesus’s birth. I love the faces in each Nativity of those who came to adore Him. I, too, approach Him with my love and gratitude, thankful for His gift to us and to our family.
Below are some photos of some of these Nativities. I will add to this as I take more pictures in the next few days. I hope you enjoy them as we do.
more photos and words coming
