Need a fun summer Project? Come May 15th and learn about Days for Girls!

IMG_1748This coming Thursday, May 15th we will be hosting our first Third Thursday Days for Girls Work Day in the Stonewood Stake Center located at 450 South 100 West, Orem, Utah from 9:00 to noon.

If you are looking for a fun project to do this summer with your family, consider this one. Days for Girls kits are fun and easy to make and one beautiful kit will change the life of one beautiful girl who is missing up to a week of school each month because she doesn’t have feminine hygiene supplies.

Each kit contains: 2 waterproof shields that snap under the underwear and hold a colorful flannel liner in place, 8 washable liners made of colorful stain-hiding flannel, 2 freezer quality gallon-sized Ziploc bags to keep the clean ones clean, and to soak the soiled ones in a bit of water, one wash rag and one bar of hotel-sized soap.  All of these are presented in a lovely drawstring bag to girls who desperately need them.

We have girls lining up and waiting for our kits in Mali, Uganda, Peru, Uganda, Haiti and many other countries.  We could really use your help.  Please come get involved in this life-changing fun.

Financial donations are also gratefully accepted to help us buy needed supplies.  100% goes to these beautiful girls.  Please help if you are able.
