This morning we woke to a winter wonderland of SNOW in Yakima! We had an airport trip to make, then meetings until this afternoon (transfer planning) AND it was the first day of the best flannel sale of the year at JoAnn Fabrics and I was itching to get to it. I was able to break away this afternoon and was thrilled to find that the snow slowed the bargain shoppers, so sales so far had been slow. There were no lines, and plenty of flannel. I was a happy camper!
Pictured are the store manager and Toni McBean, who dropped by. She is our DfG organizer here in Yakima Valley. She will help get this flannel distributed to the women who are helping. As for me, my Christmas shopping is done. All I ever want is fabric for my girls all over the world and kind friends to help me get it there.
The kind store helpers pronounced this the sale of the day. I spent about $900 and saved more than $3200! Sweet.
