Memorial Day in Yakima

Today after our meetings we picked up some burgers and a fresh banana strawberry shake and we went to the local Tahoma Cemetery here in Yakima to celebrate Memorial Day. There were just a handful of people coming to pay their respects and bring flowers.  It was quiet and peaceful and lovely.  I love that we all get to end up in a cemetery someday.  They are some of my favorite places here on earth.

Our kids at home face timed us from their cemetery visit in Spanish Fork, where all our family was gathered.  We miss them and love being surrounded by wonderful family members on both sides of the veil.
