A Lewis Family Christmas 2021

Last night the stockings were hung by the chimney with care and Santa CAME!!  Here’s a look at our wonderful Christmas Day!

Our Christmas morning began at about 8:30 this morning when the kids came downstairs and discovered their stockings and notes from Santa.

Stockings are a favorite in the Lewis family.  Each gift is wrapped and unique.  It takes us about an hour to empty our stockings.  So many little treasures!

The sticky buns were baking in the oven while we enjoyed our stockings.  Then we devoured them!

We could have stopped there and it would have been a perfect day.

But there was a bit more in the living room, waiting.

The sweetest part of our morning was watching Clark run right past everything in the room, including a new bike, to find the gift he’d picked and wrapped for his mom.  He could hardly wait to give it to her–some bright red Kansas City Chiefs socks!  Only after that did he notice everything else in the room.

We had a great morning and a relaxing afternoon, playing, reading, learning new games and working on puzzles.

John and the kids made some traditional Swiss Braetzle cookies.

Then we had a nice dinner of roast beast.

Dinner was followed by more games and puzzles.  It was a perfect day in every way.  We are grateful for the gift of having our family all together in one place.  And we are grateful for the greatest gift of all, our Savoir Jesus Christ, who blesses our lives in every possible way.
