This is the only Presidential Museum funded by a State. Because of that, they have lots of extras. The exhibits were amazing, many of them were so inter-active with real people acting the parts of people in Lincoln’s life. It really was fantastic. I loved every minute we spent here.

I really enjoyed meeting and visiting with Mary Todd Lincoln. I’ve been reading about her and her dressmaker, Elizabeth Keckley. This exhibit of dresses made from their descriptions published in newspapers was especially interesting to me.
