What a treat to have our reunion fly in and out of St Louis where the grandkids are! Last night we went out for Mexican food.
And today we went with the kids to Ulysses S. Grant’s farm, which is now a sort of animal park and petting zoo.
Feeding the hungry goats was a little overwhelming for the people kids who were easily knocked over. At one point, Clark cried, “THEY’RE TRYING TO KILL ME!!”
Margot LOVES llamas, but not in real life!!
The famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses live here at this farm. They were also a little overwhelming, at first.
We have an early flight out in the morning. Wow, what a great couple of weeks we’ve had here in St. Louis, Nauvoo and Springfield. It’s been a happy good time!
