This morning we packed our bags, stored them at the hostel, had our last delicious Austrian breakfast, then headed to the Jerusalem Center for church, which was wonderful.

We walked through the Kidron Valley and back up to the Old City after church to spend our last day in Jerusalem with just our little family.  Tonight we would drive to Netanya to join a group of friends in a big bus to spend the next week touring out-lying areas.

Here are sights I want to remember:

At the end of our New Year’s Eve Day, we collected our bags and dragged them through the cobblestone streets to the Lion’s Gate, where we met our friend, Mohammed, who we’d arranged with to drive us 2 hours to Netanya.  We loved staying in this hostel and would return here in an instant.  It was perfect in every way.
