Our guides planned to take us to this traditional site of Jesus’ Jordan River baptism, but the road was blocked, so all we got were these 2 photos, which I’ll include here.
We continued over to the Dead Sea, which was also completely developed since I was a student here. Before, our bus full of students just pulled up anywhere along the shore, we got out, and walked into the salty water. Now, it’s a full-blown tourist attraction with entrance fees, vendors, locker rooms and more. Wow. Israel does Tourism!
