This evening we went to a special event at Sundance to celebrate Robert Redford’s 90th Birthday.  It was by invitation only to Sundance owners.  We got to go ride the lift up to the top (for a donation to the Redford Conservation Project).  It was Hot in the valley and 10 degrees cooler there.  We had a really fun evening.  The lift ride was a little scary for me with those little girls, but we did it and enjoyed the cool mountain air and the beautiful mountain side.  We live in such an incredibly beautiful place!

After that, we waited until they had a little program at 7:30 to honor “Bob” and his birthday.  He died just last year.  His granddaughter, then his daughter spoke, remembering him and reminding us of his contributions and the creation of Sundance.  It was nice.  Then they served cups with a chocolate brownie and ice cream, Bob’s favorite dessert.
