The first order of business this weekend was Josie’s 8th Birthday! We went to the cabin for General Conference weekend where we celebrated her big day.
A few words about Josie: Josie is composed and poised. She stays calm even when she’s not happy about something. Josie is an excellent student and she makes friends easily. We all love having her around. She loves to read and she was excited to get her first journal today for her birthday. She is a really helpful big sister. She is responsible and kind and she helps take care of everyone. She likes to help in the kitchen and help her mom around the house. She keeps her room clean and organized. I love it when Josie comes over to visit or just to sit and read with me. We like being together.
Clark is a great big brother to all these girls. Girl #5 will arrive next month. We are excited. Clark says he’ll just have to wait 2 more years, hoping for a brother. Clark is a Mini-Adam. He does the same things here at the cabin that Adam did when he was 10.
The kids discovered the sleep sacks our kids wore when they were this size.
We really enjoyed watching General Conference with the cabin full. Aaron and Abbey joined us Sunday.
Between sessions we hiked to Stewart Falls. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. And I am getting old.
Of course Adam and Clark hiked to the pool above the falls. They are fearless. I am fearfull.
I am grateful for our Church leaders, Prophets and Apostles. They speak truth with wisdom and love. Every 6 months we learn from them at Conference time. These are my favorite weekends of the year. I always receive ideas of how I can be better.
