Quilters in Salt Lake learn about Days for Girls!

Last night we took DfG on the road to a wonderful quilt group in Salt Lake. They meet each month at one of our favorite quilt shops, Elaine’s Quilt Block. Norma Whaley and Leslie Isom (quilters extraordinaire) pictured below (right to left) with my new friend Loraine, welcomed us to their evening of visiting and sharing beautiful quilts.  They wanted to learn more about Days for Girls, and Melissa Clark and I were happy to talk to them about what we do and how they might help.  There’s always a bit of magic in the room when you put quilters and Days for Girls together.  It happened last night.  We loved being with them.  We loved their quilts.  We showed a few of our own too!  Best of all we loved sharing some about how we can each help a bit more.

Our thanks to Elaine’s Quilt Block for their interest in using fabric to make this world a better place!
