Bushman Reunion Day #2 Old Nauvoo

After visiting the temple, we hurried to see the sites owned by the Community of Christ Church before they closed.  We walked through the Red Brick Store first.  Some very important council meetings were held here and it was in this place the first Relief Society was organized.  This was also where the Bishop’s Storehouse was and where tithing donations were received and given.

This upstairs room was used as a meeting room, a masonic lodge, and the Bishop’s Storehouse.  It’s also where the Relief Society was organized.

Outside the Red Brick Store is the Smith Family Cemetery.
