Next we drove to Tel Megiddo. It’s a nice national park now with a visitor’s center and displays and dioramas and artifacts. We looked out over the Jezreel Valley and talked about the wars that happened there. (And the wars that will happen there.) They’ve excavated quite a bit and it was all interesting to see. At the end, we walked down into a water tunnel (much roomier than Hezekiah’s) where they brought water in from outside the fortress.
