Today the crew arrived to take down our back yard wooden fence. It’s 30 years old and it was on it’s last leg, protecting our family.
Here’s the view now from my kitchen window. I rather like it open to the orchards across the street and the mountains beyond, but it won’t be this way for long. How nice it would be to live in a world without fences or walls.
Today I put a big pot of split pea soup on the stove. It’s cold and snowy out, still.
