We have just returned from a quick trip to Irvine where we welcomed a perfect new grandson into our family. (Sadly, no words or pics allowed here.)
I can describe the beaches. They have been devastated in recent storms that have washed away so many of California’s best beachfronts, including Newport Beach, where our family vacations every year.
John and I took care of Caleb while Claire recovered and relaxed. We took him to Balboa Pier area and this is what we found. These sand cliffs were created by the recent storms.
